“Curcuma xanthorrhiza, a perennial herb and member of the Zingiberaceae (ginger) family, grows to a height of three to five feet and is cultivated extensively in Asia and other countries with a tropical climate.
Curcuma is used for dyspepsia, particularly feelings of fullness after meals and antimicrobial.
In Indonesia, it has been used for liver and gallbladder complains. Curcuma can also prevent any damages in liver that caused by any toxin. Curcuma also can relieve the damages in liver if the damage has occurred thus curcuma can be used as hepato-protector”
